Rainbow Valley (Half day)

Rainbow valley is one of the Northern Territory's most stunning and picturesque locations, drawing its name from the almost surreal pallet of contrasting colours that are illuminated as the sun sets overhead. Giving off vibrant shades of vivid reds, coral pinks, and neon purples the mountains contrasting against a star studded deep blue sky is a true thing of beauty, and a spectacle to behold.

To take advantage of this golden hour, the tour departs in the late afternoon, before taking a short scenic drive south towards the Rainbow Valley turnoff. Approximately 20km of off-road driving will take you to some scenic walking tracks, featuring walks that can be from 10 minutes to 1 hour return. The perfect opportunity to get out and about, these walking trails incorporate sand dunes and a dry clay pan, giving you a real taste of the variety of terrain that this wondrous land is made up of.

Bubbles, Beer, and BBQ as the Sun Sets

Final stage of the tour takes place at the sunset viewing area. Here, you will be greeted with bubbles and locally brewed beer, and will enjoy a delicious bbq dinner, as you take in the marvel of one of the most beautiful natural light shows Australia has to offer. The perfect ending to a brilliant day, we’re sure you’ll agree…

Tour duration is approximately 5 hours, returning to your accommodation about one and a half hours after sunset.
